The Panthers pulled off an impressive win last night, knocking off cross town rivals the North Huskies by an impressive score of 56 to 9, losing oly 3 matches on the night.

So far the team has been impressive on the year, with a current record of 8 -0 and a currently ranked 11th in the state, the panthers have yet to lose more than 3 matches in a dual this year. After losing 6 solid seniors from last years team, the wrestling team was said to be in a "rebuilding" year, but so far the wins this year have been more impressive than last. Quality wins have been coming from a strong freshman class with Trevor Moody at 112, Blake Rueger at 125, and Aaron King at 130.

Next up for the Mighty panthers is a trip to Zionsville for their annual invitational tournament. This is an 8 team individual tournament where last year's team finished second behind Carmel High School by only 4 points. This year's wrestlers can pull off the victory at this tournament if they continue to wrestle as competitively as they have so far this year. One match at a time.
